There are more than 40 ceramic companies that have gone bankrupt and are awaiting reorganization and have suspended production for a long time due to the debt crisis (excluding those that have been revitalized before the end of 2020).
Since 2021, five bankrupt ceramic companies in Guangdong and Guangxi have been revitalized, and most of them have resumed production.

It is reported that Fengze Ceramics has completed bankruptcy and reorganization this year and changed its name to Guangdong Shengshi Kunpeng Ceramics Co., Ltd. The investors immediately transformed the production line. "Ceramic Information" learned that the company has now entered trial production. In the first stage, it will produce 800×1600mm products with a daily output of 18,000 square meters. It is expected that the production capacity will reach 35,000 to 38,000 square meters after normal production.
Previously, investors in Fengze Ceramics’ restructuring told the media that after adjusting their products, they would take “going overseas” as their future development direction. It is reported that after the company resumed production, it has successively received orders from Singapore, Vietnam, Venezuela, etc.
It is understood that Shengshi Kunpeng Ceramics is upgrading and transforming the second production line, which is expected to be put into operation in September. After the three production lines are fully transformed, the daily production capacity will reach nearly 100,000 square meters.
Earlier on August 5, Guangxi Lianhui Ceramics Co., Ltd. held the lighting ceremony of the first production line.
The predecessor of Lianhui Ceramics was New Power Ceramics, which failed to be auctioned many times after bankruptcy. It was involved in lawsuits due to defaults on bank loans, supplier payments, workers' wages and other issues. Factory equipment and production equipment were seized by many courts and received widespread attention. .
Under the active guidance of the local court and government, in July 2020, New Power Ceramics was acquired by a Fujian investor who has been operating the ceramics business in Foshan for many years at a price of 85.2815 million yuan.
According to the town government of Daye Town, Cenxi City, Guangxi, where Lianhui Ceramics is located, the company’s current projectThe total planned investment of the project is 250 million yuan, and 2 production lines are planned to be built, of which 100 million yuan will be invested to upgrade the production line of No. 1 kiln.
After a year of restructuring and transformation, the first production line has been completed and started. It is worth noting that the production line is a 526-meter-long ultra-large wide-body kiln. It currently produces antique bricks, with a daily output of 55,000 square meters. The bricks are expected to be officially produced in late August.
Unlike the above-mentioned long-term suspension of production that was revitalized after bankruptcy and reorganization, which required the complete dismantling and reconstruction of the original production line, Zhongheng Ceramics in Zhaoqing, Guangdong and Jinshajiang Ceramics in Cenxi, Guangxi were in production during the bankruptcy and reorganization process. , but the producer is leasing.
On April 8, Guangxi Jinshajiang Ceramics was wholly acquired by Cenxi Lianchuang Ceramics Co., Ltd. through auction for 145 million yuan.
It is worth noting that since 2018 before the completion of the acquisition, Lianchuang Ceramics has been the lessee of Jinshajiang Ceramics, and has transformed one of Jinshajiang Ceramics’ three polished tile production lines into an antique tile line, which has been operating normally. Production and operation.
After the completion of this acquisition, it means that Lianchuang Ceramics has fully taken over the assets of Jinshajiang Ceramics Factory. It is reported that after completing the acquisition, Lianchuang Ceramics once again upgraded and renovated its second production line to also produce antique bricks.
Since it was reported that Zhaoqing Zhongheng Ceramics owed RMB 800 million in debt in 2015, it applied for bankruptcy liquidation in December 2016. During this period, it was revitalized by Deyi through leasing, and in 2020 it introduced new investors to apply for reorganization. , and then on March 15 this year, all parties signed the "Transaction Agreement" to complete the reorganization. Zhongheng's bankruptcy and reorganization road lasted for 6 years. In the years before the reorganization was completed, Deyi Company continued to produce and operate the company normally.

2021 is a year for leading brands to expand against the trend. Hongyu Group signed an investment agreement with the Teng County government before the Spring Festival, announcing that it would acquire 2,000 acres of land and build 12 production lines. On March 4, it made another move to acquire Xinzhong Tao for 186 million yuan.
As the pioneer of the modern building ceramics industry in Teng County, Xinzhong Ceramics was once the benchmark for the local building ceramics industry in Guangxi. However, since 2015, when employees blocked roads to demand wages and suppliers and dealers collectively defended their rights, they encountered a crisis of production suspension. Although it was reorganized and resumed production, crises continued until it filed for bankruptcy liquidation in April 2020.
It is reported that Hongyu Group hasGuangxi Hongsheng Ceramics Co., Ltd. was established in the west. The first three production lines are currently expected to be completed and put into operation within the year.
