In the ninth year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi promulgated sixteen articles of the edict. Officials from various places actively promoted activities to preach the edict and wrote a large number of books explaining the edict. Against this background, Liang Yannian, the magistrate of Fanchang County, Anhui Province, compiled and printed the book "An Interpretation of Holy Oracle Images" in an attempt to explain the Holy Oracle to villagers, women and children with low levels of education through stories and images. There are 248 prints in the book, with elegant carvings and delicate lines, inheriting the legacy of Huizhou prints in the late Ming Dynasty. Interpret the oracles with the stories of characters in the classics and present the stories with images. Pictures, events and theories constitute a composite text with "intertextuality" and "dialogue".
Zheng Zhenduo said in "A Brief History of Ancient Chinese Woodcut Painting": "The Interpretation of Holy Oracle Images" is a very large volume and its characters are very elegant.
In order to allow the unique and rare books handed down from the motherland to be reincarnated into thousands and reach the general public. Yangzhou Guchun Pavilion and Phoenix Publishing House jointly launched "Interpretation of Holy Oracle Images", which not only made a positive contribution to the study of classical literature and document collection, but also provided rare editions for collectors of thread-bound ancient books.
Zeng Xingliang, a famous calligrapher from Lingnan, a business observer, and one of the top 100 Chinese home furnishing brand managers in 2019. He has inscribed titles for thread-bound ancient books many times. Among them, the titles and inscriptions of "Commentaries on the Tao De Zhen Jing" and "Dacheng of Painting Techniques in the Ming Dynasty's Orphan Edition" are all written by him. His published works include "Head of the Pottery World" and "Breakthrough and Transformation".
